How can I find what I am looking for?
Browse the product ranges
When you are ready to begin shopping, click on the product range
you are interested in and you will then see pictures and descriptions of all
products available within that category. To make your choice easier, when an item comes in several
colours, we provide full size photos of the item in each of the colours.
Use the search facility
If you know exactly what it is you are looking for, you can use
the search facility. In the search box, type in any words relevant to the item
you are searching for e.g. ‘Nike’ and ‘sweatshirt’ and a list of items that
match those terms will appear. You may also select a brand from the drop-down
menu on the left of the screen (under 'manufacturers') and all items of that
brand will be shown.
How do I get more information about the products
I find?
Click on either the small photo or on the brief item description and you will see a larger
image and a detailed item description. You are also welcome to
contact us.
How do I pick the items I want?
After clicking on an item, simply select your size from the drop-down menu (on
the left of the screen) and click on 'Add to cart'. N.B. You can check the
contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on 'cart contents' at the top of the screen. If you want to remove items from your
shopping cart, first click on 'cart contents’ and then click on ‘remove item’ next to the item you want to remove.
How do I
place an order?
Once you have completed filling your shopping cart with the items you want, click on
‘checkout’ at the top of the screen. You can also click on ‘checkout’ when
checking your shopping cart.
How can I pay?
Once you have clicked on 'checkout', you will be
asked to either log in (registered customers) or to create an account (new
customers). Next, you will be transferred to the secure payment section where you can pay using your credit or
debit card (see
payment information for more details).
Alternatively, if you
contact us with details of your order, you may pay
by cheque (made payable to ‘sporty miss’). Please note that when payment is made
by cheque, goods will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared.
How
secure are online payments?
All of our pages requesting personal information use a secure
link. This means that the information you send to us is encrypted in such a way
that other Internet users are prevented from viewing your information (see
payment information for more details).
Are there any delivery charges?
There is a cost of £2.95 per order (regardless of how many items are included in
the order) and orders valued at £30 and over are delivered free of charge. Goods can only be delivered to addresses within the UK (see
delivery
information for more details).
After I
have ordered what happens?
Once payment has been authorised, you will receive an email confirming the
details of your order. Please make a note of the order number in case you need
to
contact us regarding it.
Orders made before 12pm noon will be despatched the same
day. Orders made after this time will be despatched the next working day. Orders
made over the weekend/public holidays will be despatched the next working day.
You will receive a second email confirming that your order has been despatched.
Goods are sent via Royal Mail’s recorded delivery
service, this normally takes between 1 and 3 working days following despatch
(most are delivered the day following despatch).
Goods will be delivered by Royal Mail. The recorded delivery
services require a signature on delivery. If you are not available when the
delivery is made, you will be left a note requesting you collect the parcel from
your local sorting office (see
delivery information for more details).
How can
I track my order?
If you
contact us, quoting your order reference number, we can inform you
of the current status of your order.
How do I
return unsuitable items?
We offer a
100% satisfaction guarantee, that is, if you are not completely happy with any
of the goods purchased, you may return them to us within 14 days of delivery and
have the cost of the unwanted item/s refunded (see our
returns information for more details).
Please note that postage & packing costs are not refunded.
